Discover the prehistoric in your backyard! The Paleontological Society of Austin presents the 26th Annual Fossil Fest, a fun and educational event for the whole family.

Activities include:

• Show Spotlight: Prehistoric Sharks!
• Guest Speaker: “Fossils Talk – Hear their Stories”
• BYOF: Bring Your Own Fossil for Fossil Identification
• Meet a Scientist: Opportunity to interact one-on-one with UT scientists, science educators and amateur/avocational paleontologists – hands-on learning & demos, Q&A
• “Paleo Passport” educational quest for students
• Hands-on Fossil Touch Table and Microscope
• Exhibits: See what fossil collectors find in Texas
• Fossil collection: Start yours at the Wheel of Fossils & Dig Pit
• Fossils / Minerals / Books / Gifts / Jewelry / Toys / more
• Hourly and Grand Door Prizes
• Onsite snack bar serving Torchy’s Tacos and Round Rock Donuts for breakfast and Rudy’s tacos for lunch along with snacks and beverages.
