A mixed media dance production exploring the experiences of survivors and veterans of World War II.
This Veteran’s Day weekend, Early Era Collective reprises its beloved production, “Of Thee I Swing.” Invoking laughter, tears, and thought, our live mixed media dance show explores the stories of five people who served in or survived World War II. “Of Thee I Swing” combines filmed interviews and live dance – including swing, contemporary, tap, hip-hop fusion and theater dance – mixed with song, animation, and 1940s garb. This evening-length piece honors our seniors and veterans, and shares their wisdom for a divided time.
“Of Thee I Swing” will take place at First Street Studio Theater, November 10-12, 2023. General Admission tickets are sliding scale $20-$35 each. Veterans and seniors can purchase a $15 ticket by contacting Stephanie at stephanie@earlyeracollective.org.

The performance venue is accessible to all abilities and accommodations can be made in regards to seating arrangements. There are two possible venue entrances and exits, both of which are ADA accessible. The performance includes visual media that is accompanied by audio as well as captioning in English. All media materials are suitable for all ages.
