AUSTIN, TEXAS – OCTOBER 26th, 2016 – Join us for an evening featuring Bob Hoffnar as he tells the history of pedal steel guitar music and how he incorporates this history into contemporary music, followed by a show with Hoffnar on the Texas pedal steel guitar and Janie Cowan on the upright bass. Light refreshments and beverages will be served.  

About Bob Hoffnar: Graduating from the Purchase Conservatory of Music in 1998 with a BFA in composition, Hoffnar has delved into numerous projects in the film and music industry. Working with household names such as Nora Jones, Cyndi Lauper, and Scott Welland while also pursuing a variety of personal projects such as The Mood Illusion, a collective instrumental group that reworks variations of pop staples (ABBA, The Carpenters) along with some original work.
