Hayward Tuning Vine Workshop

Hayward Tuning Vine Workshop

Presented by The Liminal Sound Series at The Museum of Human Achievement

Microtonal tuba player and composer Robin Hayward gives
workshop on tuning vine interface for Just Intonation.

‘A virtual spaceship for the intuitive exploration
of multidimensional harmonic space’

If you have an interest in Just Intonation I highly recommend spending some time with The Tuning Vine and coming to the workshop and concert.  It is a fantastic way to get a visceral understanding of how frequencies and sounds become music. It opens some very big doors.

Along with the workshop there will be a concert of improvised music with:

Pedalsteel / composer Bob Hoffnar
Tuba/Composer Robin Hayward
Flute Seetha Shivaswamy
Percussion Chris Cogburn
Trombone Michael St.Clair
Bass Thomas Helton
