The annual Central American Music festival is a cultural initiative that brings to Austin some of the most representative musicians from that region to share and promote the culture and art from the heart of our continent. The doors open at 6PM for our small business fair and Central American Food. The concert starts at 7PM. This edition will feature the promising young Mayan Singer-songwriter, Sara Curruchich, and Chejo Enriquez from Guatemala, Mister Meli from Nicaragua, Jeana and Juan Carlos Ureña from Costa Rica and the new Austin band “PianoSur” featuring musicians from both Central and South America. PianoSur and the festival artists will dedicate part of the programa to Guillermo Anderson recently deceased Honduran singer-songwriter by playing some of his most important songs.
