On Sept. 13, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) invites music fans to come out and support the artists who make Austin’s music scene so vibrant. In one day, more than 150 bands will play in Austin clubs, restaurants and retail stores to help raise awareness and funds for HAAM. Spend the day shopping and eating at participating retail stores and restaurants or attending HAAM Benefit Day music showcases at various venues. Download the GigTown app to find participating locations. For each ‘check in’ GigTown will donate $5 to HAAM and tip the performing artist.

The event kicks off at 6:00 a.m. at the Whole Foods at 5th And Lamar and citywide showcases take place until 2:00 a.m. Many of the events and locations are family friendly! Time and cost will vary by location.
