“Sounds of the Season” is a free community-wide event where brass, string, and woodwind ensembles of the Austin Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will spread the sounds of the holidays across the Greater Austin area.
“Sounds of the Season” is a free community-wide event where brass, string, and woodwind ensembles of the Austin Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will canvas the Greater Austin area during the month of December. It is our mission to bring the sounds of the holidays to the community. By taking the orchestra out of the concert hall and into public spaces, we reach thousands of people and get to introduce ourselves to new audiences.

From Mopac (Loop 1) head north from downtown. Exit at 35th Street and turn left (West). Follow 35th St. until it ends. You will pass Camp Mabry, Mayfield Park and Mt. Bonnell Road. The entrance is on the left at 3809 W. 35th St. Parking is available on the premises. There is also street parking along 35th St.
