Learn how to make a ceramic flower vase with artist Tina Williams of Brave Ceramics in this two hour, beginner level pottery class. With the holidays around the corner, your handmade vase will make the perfect centerpiece.
Tina will teach about the clay hand-building process, tips for surface design, and the glazing process. We will hand sculpt thin, rolled out slabs of clay to build a flower vase. You’ll add textures & design to the outside surface of the vase to personalize your pottery.
At then end of class, students choose their vase color which will be applied later.Pottery made in class is taken back to the pottery studio in Austin to be dried slowly, fired twice in a kiln, and professionally glazed. They will be ready for pick up at Vista Brewing 4 weeks after class.
Vista Brewing Class offers Sunday Brunch 11 am – 2 pm as well as wine, cider, and non-alcoholic options.

Space is limited for class, and seats are sold on a first come, first served basis. We aren’t able to accommodate walk up participants due to clay preparations made prior to class so please purchase a ticket ahead of time. All class ticket sales are final and non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel the class if a minimum number of seats are not sold. In the event of cancellation, you will be refunded in full.
