The New World

The New World

Presented by Austin Chamber Music Center at KMFA

Nature or Nurture? How much does social environment and locale influence brave, renegade artists? Dvorak, Bartok, and Stravinsky all traveled miles across the sea to reach the New World… but what new ideas were provided to these visionaries? Take a deep dive into the convergence of genius and inspiration in this exploration of cross-cultural influence. Featuring clarinetist James Shields, violinist David Felberg, and pianist Michelle Schumann. For tickets and details, please visit https://austinchambermusic.org/event/the-new-world/.
