“Pet Dick” is a 6-part audio-documentary investigating unexplained pet deaths. But seriously, it’s a comedy.
In 1969, in rural Lincoln, Illinois, a private investigator named Jerry Labinowicz documented on micro-cassette tapes his investigations into a series of unexplained pet deaths over the course of 20 years.
These 50-year-old cassettes were recently uncovered, and this audio-documentary examines these tapes as Jerry unravels a mystery in real time.
BroadwayWorld Austin says “Jarrott Productions has produced another hit,” an audio-documentary (not a podcast) that is “laugh out loud funny!” London’s LouReviews says ‘Pet Dick’ has “the ambience is 1950s radio schlock and Bob Newhart hysterics!”
And due to popular demand, “Pet Dick” has definitely been extended indefinitely!
