Why: The EHAT initiative seeks to enhance community technology centers in areas that serve low income Hispanic populations by providing digital and technological resources. With 60 technology centers across the United States and 1.6 million people who have benefited from EHAT, LULAC has established the nation’s largest Latino network of technology centers. Through a generous grant, Latinitas will provide Latinos with an invaluable resource critical to the advancement of this fast growing population and highlight the importance of a STEM education.
