Some of the best movie music began with a book. Bibliophiles & cinephiles unite for Cinematic Symphony’s live performance under the Capitol Rotunda at noon on Sunday, May 15. Program hints = music from movies from books from authors L. Ron Hubbard, George R.R. Martin, Lewis Carroll, J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, Roy Hobbs, Gregory Maguire. Program will be posted on Facebook that day.
This is another free concert with amazing sound under the dome, and free parking is available (open gates on Sundays) in the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage at 1201 San Jacinto located between Trinity and San Jacinto Streets at 12th and 13th Streets.
Free Admission. Indoors, but limited seating; so, bring a folding chair if you don’t want to stand the entire 45 minutes to an an hour.
