In May a lot of Texans join the Cinco de Mayo celebration–even if they don’t really know exactly what they’re commemorating. (Mexicans defeated the French against the odds.) It’s a time to embrace the food, the culture, the spirit of our Latin American brothers and sisters. The way we do that at Theater 13 is with a movie and a party!

Join us for the obscure, but arguably superior, version of Dracula, produced for a Spanish market and released at the same time as the Lugosi version. It’s the same script, sharing same sets, but it’s filled with sexy, Latin passion and we are going to rock this!

As always we encourage people to dress for the occasion. Badlands will have a uniquely themed drink special. We’ll have a prize drawing. 

Saul Ravencraft has also asked you think about your favorite vampire celebrities, as he reaches out during our interactive intermission to get answers through your true vampire spirit.

The movie will start closer to 8:00, but we’ll have some special clips and preshow fun to reward early bats. Join us!
