For over 50 years, John Mayall has served as a pioneer of blues music, rightly earning him the title, ‘The Godfather of British Blues.’  Since bursting on to the scene in 1965 under the banner of the Bluesbreakers, either solo or with the band, he has performed with such blues great s John Lee Hooker, T-Bone Walker, and Eric Clapton.  Along the way, Mayall became revered for his jazz/rock/blues innovations, released the GRAMMY nominated Wake Up Call, and worked with Buddy Guy, Mavis Staples, Steve Miller, Billy Gibbons, and Billy Preston.  In 2015 Mayall released the historical Bluesbreakers album, Live In 1967, featuring John McVie and Mick Fleetwood.
