Borrowing the name ‘Marshall Tucker’ from a piano tuner whose name was found on a key ring in their old rehearsal space, the Marshal Tucker Band celebrates 40 years performing its definitive blend of rock, rhythm & blues, jazz, country, and even gospel. Seemingly forever aligned with The Allman Brothers Band, they have influenced the likes of Alabama, The Kentucky Headhunters, Confederate Railroad, Travis Tritt all-the-while modern listeners get introduced to songs like ‘Fire On The Mountain,’ ‘Desert Skies,’ ‘Can’t You See,’ ‘Take The Highway,’ and ‘Heard It In a Love Song.’ MTB music has imbedded itself in classic movies like Smokey and The Bandit, Blow, Shipwrecked and countless TV shows.
