Come celebrate what keepin’ it weird is all about at the 14th Annual Keep Austin Weird Festival + 5K on Saturday, June 25th! Dress up in your wildest, strangest costume and dive deep into the oddities of Austin culture. Want to be a hula dancing Yoda? What about a gymnast chicken?  We say the weirder, the better! Don’t forget to submit yourself in the costume contest (remember, your goal is to out-weird the rest).

From 3:00 to 10:00 there will be live bands to keep your feet moving as you shake, slide, or boogie your way through the uniquely Austin crafts, vendor booths, and food trailer favorites. Stop by the Dunk Tank to check out local celebrities getting soaked as they raise funds for the Capital Area Food bank! Then, swing by the must-see, eccentric attractions in this year’s Sideshow; you don’t want to miss out on the big-toe wrestling contests or armadillo races!

Be one with the weird as you make your way through what has been called the world’s slowest 5K. Local businesses will be out on the course manning their own fun stops! Stop by the 10 fun stops along the course ranging from Clif Bars’ slip and slide to beer and shot stops!
