Austin Chinese Choir 2016 Concert

Austin Chinese Choir 2016 Concert

Presented by Austin Chinese Choir at Hope Presbyterian Church

Three years after it’s last critically acclaimed concert, Austin Chinese Choir again continues it’s tradition of pursuing musical perfection and brings audiences a feast of choral delicacies in it’s 2016 spring recital performance.  The concert is free of admission and open to public.

A varieties of choral pieces adapted from Chinese classic poetry, nostalgic folk songs and light-hearted ballads sung in Mandarin, Taiwanese and Hakka, together with selections from The Sound of Music musical, all show case the beautiful four part harmony from the group’s dedication and attention to details.  If you are a choral lover, like to immerse in a different culture or just like to enjoy an evening of relaxing music, you will not want to miss this concert!

Austin Chinese Choir is a non-profit, highly distinguished mixed-voice amateur choral group; the mission is to promote cultural exchange through singing. We actively participate in community events and have been invited and performed in and out of Texas and even overseas.  Our choir has enjoyed fanfare across both coasts and the Pacific Ocean. Currently, we have 40 members with diverse background and always welcome music lovers to join us.
