A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

Musical Theater Production and Summer Intensive, Ages 7-18

Auditions May 17 and 18, 2016. Rehearsals June 6 – 24, Shows June 25 and 26.

Join the cast of the hilarious comedy “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” at TexARTS, where everyone gets a role! In this action-packed three week summer intensive, students will act, sing, and dance their way to the spotlight. TexARTS annual summer musical theater intensive includes workshops led by Broadway guests, fully costumed and staged performances, and the opportunity to perform in front of a packed audience at St. Michael’s Academy Gloria Delgado Performing Arts Theatre!

New Masters’ Workshop Add-On

Are you ready for the next level? Join this unique workshop with Broadway veterans; Jay Binder (one of the top casting director in New York), Matthew Corozine (acting teacher, coach, director, and producer) and former Rockette, Kelly King. Students will improve their existing auditioning, acting, and dance skills. Acceptance into the workshop is based on the student’s initial audition in May.

Rehearsals are June 6 – 24 for “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.” Students must be enrolled to participate.  

Full Day Camp: M-F. 9am-5pm, Ages 7-18 – Fee $1350

Masters’ Workshop: Ages 7-18 – Fee $500
 

Extended Care Option*
8am-9am at $50 per week and/or 5-6pm at $50 per week. Must register with the Academy Office in advance.

*Please notify the office upon enrollment if you anticipate taking advantage of extended care.
