The 18th Annual Dragon Boat Festival and 2nd Annual Dumpling Festival is a tradition from China and has become an Austin tradition in the past 17 years.   There will be dragon boat races and performances of Taiko drum, lion dance, and different Asian dances and music and martial arts demonstration together with a kids zone for the entire family to enjoy.   There will be traditional Chinese and other foods for purchase throughout the two days celebration.   Please bring a picnic blanket to come with your family, neighbors and friends and join us for this family Asian festival.   This is also a good time to come make some new friends.  

UPDATE – Due to severe weather forecast on Saturday and for the safety of the public, we have decided to cancel all the activities on Saturday.  The Dragon Boat Festival will only be a Sunday event, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
