Rehab El Sadek is a conceptual artist whose work explores culture, language, and communication. In the exhibition Pattern Language El Sadek uses sculptural, abstracted forms to investigate the layered reality of immigrants from different backgrounds in America. El Sadek has held numerous awards and grants including The Gottlieb Foundation Individual Grant and the Texas Vignette Artist Grant. El Sadek has also held a one-year appointment as the City of Austin’s first Artist-in-Residence (2017).
