The Wittliff Collections, Texas State University’s internationally acclaimed collection of Southwestern writing, photography, film, and music, announce an after-party for its sold-out Wittliff Collections Festival Gala, celebrating the unbridled imagination of Texas, Mexico, and the Southwest. Taking place on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at ACL Live at the Moody Theater (310 W. Willie Nelson Blvd, Austin, Texas 78701), The Wittliff Collections Festival Gala is a private fundraising event. All proceeds will be used to help The Wittliff acquire important new collections in literature, photography, music, and film. Steve Earle will perform a solo, acoustic, 90-minute after-party set, and a limited number of tickets to the after-party will be open to the public. Taking place directly following the gala, the after-party will also benefit The Wittliff Collections. A limited number of balcony tickets will be available, priced at $30. Doors to the Dec. 2 after-party will open at 8:45 p.m. and the show will start at 9:15 p.m. The event will adhere to COVID-safety protocols required by Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater.
