ACC Art Professor, David Thornberry, will interview master artist and educator, Amado Peña. The discussion will include Peña’s experience, creative process, and his views on the role of art in our lives.
Amado Peña was born in Laredo Texas and is recognized as an artisan of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona. His work is collected around the world and is part of the Smithsonian’s American Art Museum. This is a unique opportunity to connect with an artist who has created a successful career for himself and who strives to support and educate emerging artists.
