A ninety-minute workshop production, written specifically to be performed in Live Oak Meadow, Public Property is a play that follows the stories of twenty-one park-goers and their relationships to the past, present, and future of the park. It will be performed by an ensemble of actors who represent the many histories of Texas.
Public Property: that’s what a park technically is. But everyone who spends time at the park has their own individual story of that place, a belief that this land belongs to them. When part of the meadow is closed down, what happens to all the overlapping stories that have been interrupted?
