It brings us great joy to open our season with our unique telling of the beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker. In our story, Clara’s aunt arrives in grand fashion during a holiday party. She has spent most of her adult life traveling the world and experiencing every culture. She travels with a young assistant who immediately catches Clara’s eye. Clara will have to choose between love and family as this story unfolds beautifully to Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s traditional Nutcracker Suite. The artists will be performing the ballet at the Boyd Vance Theater inside the Carver Washington Cultural Center on November 19-21.
