The most virtuosic and dramatic music ever written for strings and piano by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.
Fan Favorites includes Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata and Tchaikovsky’s Piano Trio in A Minor. Featuring the award-winning Schumann Chamber Players, Sandy Yamamoto, cellist Amy Levine-Tsang, and pianist Michelle Schumann, as well as Austin Symphony Associate Concertmaster Patrice Calixte.
Austin Chamber Music Center’s Friday Intimate Concerts are an up-close-and-personal setting for chamber music, taking place at KMFA during the 2021–2022 season. Tickets include complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres served at a post-concert reception with the artists. Virtual tickets are available on a sliding scale and include on-demand access through May. A second performance will also take place at the First Unitarian Church on Saturday, April 23; Saturday tickets are $30–45 in advance.
Doors open at 7:00 PM. In-person tickets are $80 and include complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres served at a post-concert reception with the artists.
Those who cannot attend the weekend program in person can sign up for ACMC’s exclusive livestream on that Friday night. Access is available on a sliding scale $0–40 and includes on-demand access through May 31.
