The Texas Music Museum’s 2016 Texas Jazz exhibit celebrates over sixty female and male Texan musicians and vocalists, their music and contribution to jazz.  Highlighted artists include the Texas Tenors to the Forth Worth Avant Guard Saxophone styles.  Included are jazz pianists and violinists, vocalists and bandleaders, rhythm and percussion performers, and numerous brass and wind artists many of which are Grammy winners.

Enjoy this exhibit’s exploration of jazz in Texas through presentation of photographs, biographies, recording artifacts, and video performances.  Visitors are able to access numerous website performances using their smartphone or tablet.   The Texas Jazz exhibit will be on display at the Texas Music Museum through December 2016.
