.   The festival begins with a community discussion for solving racial disharmony on Monday April 4th 7pm at the Family Life Center 1300 Lavaca Street.  The main event is a Concert For Peace happening Saturday April 9th 7:30 PM also at the Family Life Center.  The concert features Cosmic Intuition Unity Arkestra playing the music of Sun Ra and more with special guest saxophonist Bilal Sunni-Ali (from Gil Scott-Heron’s Midnight Band).  Also performing are pianist Dr. Craig Nazor, guitarist Fumihito Sugawara, Caribbean sounds from Cornerstone and the poetry of Mr. Ed Glover.  The event opens with harpist Hadda Elias
