Join the Lost Reel for a 30-day online celebration of disability film, featuring disability shorts from around the world and filmmaker Q&As!
An event of the Cinema Touching Disability Film Festival, the Lost Reel brings disability short films from around the world to your screen.
These are short films you WON\’T see at our main Festival in October, and they\’ll be available online for 30 days, starting August 16. Plus, we\’re bringing Lost Reel filmmakers to you, with a series of live filmmaker Q&As!
August 17, join us for our Kick Off Q&A! We\’ll watch 2 Lost Reel films that explore disability in mainstream culture through art: Casual Terms and Alternative Way of Being Human. After we screen these films, stick around for a chat with the directors, Jenni-Juulia Wallinheimo-Heimonen & Morgan Tipping!
Cinema Touching Disability is made possible with major sponsor support from Superior HealthPlan, United Healthcare, Amerigroup, and Genentech, a member of the Roche Group.
Free Admission. Registration for the Lost Reel will grant you access to all Lost Reel films from Aug. 16 – Sept. 15 and filmmaker Q&As. Note that our platform, SparqFest, requires a Google account or Apple ID.
