Recently rescued and restored to their original splendor, episodes follows the adventures of Carmen Banana, Austin Community Television’s resident banana cooking drag queen! From 1984 to 1992, viewers would tune in each Friday night to watch Carmen (and her massive Papier-mâché knockers) cook up banana dishes, showcase local talent, and go on countless other 80’s-tastic Austin adventures! So join the party and remember to always cook with bananas!
