In Linear Variations, a sculptural exhibition, Laura Sturtz employs line to describe and define form and space, to express movement and direction, reveal depth, and create surface pattern and texture. The variety in the exhibition suggests more than one artist at work, but there is a strong relationship between the 3 bodies of work shown. Included are colorful wood reliefs, wire sculptures in relief and 3D, and non-ferrous metal collages.
