April 21: CREATING ANTIRACIST PARADIGMS IN YOUR WORKPLACE – 2 Hour Workshop – $50 tuition
When confronted with race issues, you may have heard people respond that they are “colorblind”. While that was the prevailing practice some time ago, the current paradigm is to be actively anti racist. We will work together to create the basic paradigms to integrate diversity throughout your business.

June 9: ALLYSHIP & BYSTANDER INTERVENTION TRAINING – 4 Hour Workshop – $75 tuition
An ally is a person who actively extends their privilege to groups that do not share that privilege.  Allyship is a process and everyone has more to learn. Allyship involves a lot of listening. Sometimes, people say “doing ally work” or “acting in solidarity with” to reference the fact that “ally” is not an identity, it is an ongoing and lifelong process that involves a lot of work. Understand the steps to being an ally in the workplace and create a plan for how to intervene when situations arise.

EDI Workshops is a collaboration between Austin Creative Alliance & Coldtowne Theatre.
