UPDATE: Since many people in Central Texas still haven’t returned to normal living situations, we have decided to reschedule our Celebration premiere for Saturday, February 27 at 7:30 PM. On-demand access will be available, as with all our Spring Sessions, after the concert premiere through May 31.
Austin Chamber Music Center’s 18th Annual Black Composers Concert “Celebration” focuses on four living Black composers and the incredible legacy of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. Led by Artina McCain, pianist extraordinaire and long-time ACMC collaborator, we’ll take a journey of beauty, celebration, and story-telling. Featuring McCain on piano, oboist Titus Underwood, bassoonist Maya Stone, and Adelante Winds.
To keep this virtual event accessible to all, the Austin Chamber Music Center is offering tickets on a sliding scale, $0–40. Tickets are valid for the live stream event as well as on-demand access through the end of May.
