New Year's Eve Back to the Future Movie Marathon

Presented by Georgetown Palace Theatre at Georgetown Palace Theatre

What are you doing on New Year’s Eve? Watching a Back to the Future movie marathon! We will be showing all three Back to the Future movies, starting at 5pm with 30 minute breaks in-between. Admission will be donations only; pay what you can to help support the Palace. Wear your best Marty McFly, Doc or 80s garb to win a prize. We will be playing 80s music in between shows, along with Back to the Future trivia questions.

When you reserve your seats, you will be reserving them for all three movies, but you can arrive or leave at any time.

Movie Schedule:

5 pm: Back to the Future
7:30 pm: Back to the Future: Part 2
10 pm: Back to the Future: Part 3

This movie will be indoors.  Masks are required at all times. Capacity is limited 25%, every other row will be left empty, and there will be 2 empty seats between every group from a different household. Consistent with ASHRAE recommendations, we have installed MERV 13 filters and increased our outdoor air intake to allow for a complete replacement of air every thirty minutes within the theatre.

Street Parking is available free of charge around the square after 5:00 PM.

First Texas Bank offers free parking after 5:00 PM on weekdays, and Noon on Saturdays.

The Georgetown Public Library lot is always free and open to the public.

The main auditorium of the theater is outfitted with an inductive loop which is made up of 4 loops which transmit sound directly from the sound board to any hearing aid fitted with a T-Coil. A user need only activate the T-Coil option & they can access the service. This allows them to turn off the microphone in their hearing aid, if they choose to eliminate ambient sound in the auditorium, enhancing their sound quality. For those who do not have the proper equipment, we offer loner units for check out. This service is free & is always available at any performance.
