Austin, Texas-based vocalist Cari Hutson has a new EP on the horizon, titled “Salvation & Soul Restoration,” dropping on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021. To celebrate the release, Hutson will be doing a free live stream from The Saxon Pub at 9 p.m. CST on Feb. 12, which will stream from their Facebook page.

Written by Cari Hutson and her husband Hunter St. Marie, “The Rescue” features vocals by Cari Hutson and Cecilio Ruiz III, guitar by Hunter St. Marie, B3 & Wurlitzer/Rhodes by Bryce Powell, drums and percussion by Cecilio Ruiz III, bass by Eric Lenington, string arrangement by Mark Addison. The track was produced, engineered & mixed by Mark Addison at Aerie Studios and mastered by Jerry Tubb at Terra Nova Mastering.

“Salvation & Soul Restoration” is Hutson’s first release since 2016. Since that time, she has won a coveted major Black Fret grant and has become known in Austin, Texas for her powerful vocals and riveting live shows.
