Learn about the art of portraiture painting through a Zoom-based, first-ever PAINTING Salon with Karen Offutt, of Austin’s Atelier Dojo, a collective of Austin realist artists. Karen teaches oil portraiture, and in this, the second installment of a series in which a different artist/teacher will produce a piece using one of Ney’s own sculptures as their model, Karen will paint a sketch of a Ney sculpture! This live virtual session will take place on the morning of Saturday October 10! This is an all-ages event, but artists with some technical understanding are more likely to benefit from it.
