Start the new year with the classic music of Gilbert & Sullivan’s “Pirates of Penzance.” Hear many of your favorite Pirates songs including “I am the very model of a modern Major-General,” “Hail, Poetry” and “Poor wand’ring one” – and even get the chance to sing along if you like.

You’ll hear some great GSSA talents including Holton Johnson as Frederick, David Fontenot as the Pirate King, Arthur DiBianca as Major General Stanley, Janette Jones as Ruth, Carol Brown as Mabel, and Russell Gregory as the Sergeant. You’ll have the opportunity to join in as a pirate or a policeman or a daughter of General Stanley in some choral responses.

Before the music, very briefly, we will have reports on the Society, hear plans for 2016 and our Grand Production of “The Gondoliers,” and elect the board of directors.
