Conspirare Symphonic Choir, “Annelies”: The Voice of Anne Frank

James Whitbourn’s “Annelies” is a 75-minute choral work in 14 movements with soprano soloist and four solo instrumentalists: clarinet, violin, cello and piano. The libretto is compiled and translated by Melanie Challenger from Anne Frank’s The Diary of a Young Girl. Featuring soprano Stefanie Moore. Also on the program: “It Singeth Low in Every Heart,” Scotch Traditional Melody; “Al Shlosha D’Varim,” arranged by Allan E. Naplan; “I Dream a World” (from the oratorio JFK: The Voice of Peace) by Dan Welcher. Pre-concert talk by Laura Prichard each evening at 7pm in the Sanctuary.
