An exhibition of new works by Jana Swec & Jonas Criscoe exploring the concept of entropy through movement, pattern, cycles & decay.

Jana Swec received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2001 with a focus in Studio Arts. After moving to Austin in 2001 and moving into a shared warehouse space with a few other artists and called it Bolm Studios, she co-founded the artist-run organization, Bolm Studios, now known as the non-profit Big Medium, which provides programs such as the East Austin Studio Tour, West Austin Studio Tour,  the Texas Biennial, and a year-round gallery that focuses on mostly Texas based artists. In 2014, Jana stepped away from Big Medium (but still sits on the Board of Directors) and began working fulltime as a muralist and sign painter. She has painted murals for clients such as Google, Whole Foods and Facebook.

In response to the current spike of COVID 19 in the Austin area ICOSA has decided to return to appointment only till further notice.  While we look forward to opening our doors again for regular hours we feel this is the responsible thing to do at this time to protect our community. In light of this decision we are excited to try out a new exhibition format. Each week we will be rotating work from the exhibition into our front window space. This will allow those who feel more comfortable seeing the show from afar the opportunity to view the exhibition over a four week span, in an outdoor setting. We are still committed to making private appointments available for those that would like to see the show in its entirety. To make an appointment please email icosacollective@gmail.com
