Penfold Theatre is partnering with the city of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department to present Penfold Players summer camp for students aged 9-13. Penfold Players has half-day morning camp, half-day afternoon camp, and full-day camp options.

In the half-day morning camp, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, students will receive a survey of the skills required to mount a theatrical production with a special emphasis on technical theater. They will create costumes, sets and props, along with publicity materials for their own show, which they will perform at the end of the week for family and friends. During the half-day afternoon camp, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, there will be a special emphasis on performance. Students will learn fun warm-up exercises to prepare their voices, minds and bodies for performing; become acquainted with parts of the stage and basic acting techniques; and practice memorization for their own show, which they will perform at the end of the week for family and friends.
