Wim Wenders’ personal, diary-like film following his journey to Tokyo to discover more about director Yasujiro Ozu and the Japan seen in his work. Calling Ozu a “holy treasure of cinema,” Wenders sets out to explore Tokyo twenty years after his death, as well as meet up with Ozu’s long-time collaborators.
