A Conversation with Ed Ruscha

To celebrate the opening of the Edward Ruscha papers and art collection at the Harry Ransom Center, Ed Ruscha discusses his life and work with writer and critic Dave Hickey. One of the most acclaimed artists working today, Ruscha has been deeply influenced by his love of books and language. Ruscha’s work is in the collections of museums worldwide, and in 2013, he was honored by Time magazine as one of the “100 Most Influential People.” A reception follows. Co-presented by the Blanton Museum of Art and supported in part by the Amon G. Carter Lectureship.
