PEOPLE OF COLOR CHRISTMAS: The White Elephant in the Room is a new original, comedic, contemporary Austin Holiday play loosely based on the true-life stories of this quirky and loveable group of diverse friends. Our cast of Latino, Black, and Asian-American actors explore issues of family, love, and relationships in ways we hope audiences will find fun, hilarious, and engaging. Sprinkled throughout the show will be original hip-hop songs, pop a cappella tunes, and fun Christmas outfits. This holiday season, come discover the heartfelt stories these friends reveal and the outrageous white elephant re-gifts they steal when PEOPLE OF COLOR CHRISTMAS makes its world debut this December 16-20, 2015 at Ground Floor Theatre located at 979 Springdale Rd, Austin, TX 78702 (at the corner of Springdale and Airport Blvd).

Featuring performances by Regina Soto, Michelle Alexander, Christine Hoang, Matt Giles, Gene Zhou, Kevin Grant, and Drew Harris. Also featuring original hip-hop music by Bryan King & Kevin Grant, and pop a cappella arrangements by Christine Hoang & Michelle Alexander.

We want to hear what you thought of our show, and we will answer any questions you have about our creative process. Our Lonestar Emmy-Award winning filmmaker Christopher Kim will capture this discussion, and you may be included in our documentary on the creative process and the making of People of Color Christmas. Documentary will screen at Ground Floor Theatre in 2016.
