Ray Valdez, Artist, Muralist, and Tribal member of the Texas Band of Yaqui Indians was born in Kingsville, Texas of nahua(mexico)/yaqui(yoeme) Native American ancestry. He is an artist located in Reno, Nevada and has shown his fine art paintings in galleries throughout the United States. He is also a muralist, with 30 murals in Nevada, the largest being approximately 4,000 square feet created for Truckee Meadows Water Authority.

Special Performance by The Eagle Point Singers, an intertribal drum group from the Austin area. They are a “northern drum” singing in a style that originated on the plains of the northern US and Canada.
