Created in 1975, the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble (ACWE) is a community ensemble formed of both amateur and professional musicians. It is the oldest civic band in Austin.
ACWE rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 and holds many free performances throughout the year. No auditions are required, and prospective members can join at any time. For more information, please visit acwe.org.
