Cedar Park Theatre Company presents a staged reading including songs on the Kleberg stage at Zach Scott Theatre on February 2, 2020 at 6:30pm and is free to the public including a talkback after the performance.
Sunflower is a musical about facing bullying, loneliness and belonging. It is about the power of art to inspire and lift up, about finding the courage to be oneself, and the importance of kindness and inclusion.
The staged reading will include singing all of the songs as well as the dialogue. There will be a talk back with the playwright, lyricist and composer after the performance. There will be concessions available. Parking at Zach Scott is $10 or you can park on the streets. Free admission. Directed by Jerry Blake. Starring Guy Forsyth and Lucky Cantu as well as other Austin and Cedar Park and D.C. actors. The run time is from 6:30pm to approximately 9pm including intermission. The talk back immediately follows the performance.
