Musical Connections presents “Troika,” featuring accomplished Russian piano duo Anya Grokhovski and Alena Gorina accompanied by violinist Mark Cheikhet. The trio will present a spectacular virtuoso highlighting the Golden Era repertoire by Kreisler and Rachmaninoff, among others.
The City of Austin’s Cultural Arts Division, a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts, an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, Musical Bridges Around The World, Great Promise for American Indian and Russian Speakers of Austin all have helped make this event possible.

Musical Connections is a nonprofit organization that promotes a greater understanding of the music of the world through performances, cultural exchanges, musical history and heritage. It also educates the public about the multitude of music produced by cultures around the world.
