Pinkwash

Pinkwash

Presented by Fancy Fancy Gallery at Fancy Fancy Gallery

Indulge in 16×24 feet of pure pigment in a new, site specific, psychedelic wall work by Veronica Ceci. This monumental work will disappear once the exhibition closes, so don’t miss the chance to see it in person.

Pinkwash explores gendered labor expectations and the confines of existing in a queer femme body. Ceci will be printing thousands of small relief prints directly onto the largest wall of the gallery. Each individual print acts as a “pixel” in a larger image, while also being a complete image itself. The resulting work is a mesmerizing pattern in which objects emerge and recede, inviting sustained looking and carrying different effects from various distances.

Ceci is a nationally recognized artist and Master Printer whose extensive exhibition history includes the Cleveland Museum of Art, The Art Museum of Southeast Texas and The International Print Center New York. Amongst the many permanent collections in which one finds Ceci’s work are the Zuckerman Museum of Art, The Austin History Center, The Experimental Printmaking Institute and the Manhattan Graphics Center.

Fancy Fancy Gallery is 1/2 mile from Canopy off of Bolm road near Airport blvd.
