Presented by Austin Creative Alliance and City of Austin Cultural Arts Division at Blanton Museum of Art

Keep Composers Weird is a residency program hosted by composer, Nathan Felix, for emerging composers held in Austin, providing an opportunity for selected composers from around the world to spend a week in Austin rehearsing, recording and premiering a live rendition of new music compositions.

This event on Jan 16 2020 will feature new composition from new composers to the program.  Composer and host, Nathan Felix, will headline the event with a brand new composition.

This project is supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department.

Free admission and open to the public

The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Paid parking is available in the Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the museum.
