Genevieve Vaughan is a semiotician, visionary, peace activist, feminist, author and philanthropist, who has worked for many years on the gift economy as a radical alternative to the market. Her ideas and work have been influential in the movements around alternative economics and Matriarchal Studies. She lives part time in Italy and part time in Texas.
