Austin-based nonprofit Black Fret is proud to announce the sixth annual Black Fret Ball, taking place Saturday, Dec. 7 at ACL Live at The Moody Theatre (310 W. Willie Nelson Blvd, Austin, Texas 78701). Doors for the event are at 6 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m. The Black Fret Ball is the nonprofit’s yearly capstone event, where the nonprofit’s 2019 nominated artists will each be awarded a coveted Black Fret grant. The event will also include performances by over a dozen 2019 Black Fret Nominees. Those wishing to attend the Black Fret Ball may become a member of Black Fret by signing up at www.blackfret.org/join; and all Black Fret memberships provide entry for the member and a guest to all upcoming Black Fret events.
